Well done to Rachel, who won first prize and Ronan, who won third prize in Highland Council’s ‘Design a Litter Poster’ competition. Both pupils received a gift token for an afternoon at Laser Adventure with two friends. Rachel also won a digital camera for the school. We are so proud of you both!
Steve McDermott, Highland Recycling Officer, visited P2 to share top tips for recycling. A big thank you to Steve and his bins which made the trip from Inverness!
P2 pupils delighted parents today with a presentation on recycling. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle was the message of the day. Pupils presented the whole affair: singing eco songs, delivering eco friendly advice, delighting everyone with their work and the highlight had to be the items they made for their recycling projects. Well done P2, you are all a credit to the school!
P1-6 pupils from Rosebank Primary and P6 pupils from Strathpeffer Primary had the opportunity to take part in the filming of a promotional DVD for Fostering in the Highlands. Filming took place at Nairn beach, it was a marvellous day; nice weather, blue sea and a great time was had by all!
A parade of over 450 staff and pupils delighted onlookers during this morning’s Red Nose event. Senior pupils juggling, Nairn Academy pupils unicycling and lots of laughter were the order of the day. Great fun for a good cause!
